
SIMULATION OF LIGHT PROPAGATION IN AN OPTICALLY INHOMOGENEOUS MEDIUM
Description:
To examine mirages or correctly interpret observed astronomical phenomena, it is essential to understand how light propagates in an optically inhomogeneous medium. In our project, we described 2 algorithms for constructing the trajectory of a light beam in such a medium with an accuracy exceeding 98%.
